Autopilot

Autopilot lets Bica categorize your transactions automatically, without waiting for your approval on each one. It's on by default, but you can turn it off at any time from your account settings.

With autopilot on

New transactions are categorized as soon as merchant recognition finishes, using the same rule-based pipeline described in categorization. Your dashboard and insights stay up to date without any manual work.

With autopilot off

Transactions still get a recognized merchant, but categorization pauses until you review and confirm it yourself. This is useful if you'd rather double-check every category before it's final.

Nothing is ever permanent

Whether autopilot assigned a category or you did, you can always change it later — see categorization for how corrections are remembered for next time.
